FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 07 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12592.27 crore against gross selling of Rs 15042.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2449.84 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3321.11 crore with gross sales of Rs 1838.01 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1483.10 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 2104.54 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 77.61 crore and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 543.83 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14.34 crore against gross selling of Rs 24.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10.59 crore in hybrid segment.
