FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 06 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16921.22 crore against gross selling of Rs 21083.88 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4162.66 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2241.32 crore against gross sales of Rs 1917.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 324.15 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 231.58 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 441.24 crore, while net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 348.67 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12.69 crore against gross selling of Rs 24.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 11.51 crore in hybrid segment.
