FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per May 30 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 19085.70 crore against gross selling of Rs 20843.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1758.23 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 30660.73 crore with gross sales of Rs 1867.51 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 28793.22 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 29178.61 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 91.07 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 294.32 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14.85 crore against gross selling of Rs 13.54 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.31 crore in hybrid segment.
