FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per May 22 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17870.48 crore against gross selling of Rs 19747.76 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1877.28 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2411.22 crore with gross sales of Rs 1686.78 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 724.44 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 22.86 crore against gross selling of Rs 37.53 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 14.67 crore in hybrid segment
