FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per July 31 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14863.06 crore against gross selling of Rs 17729.02 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2865.96 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2981.98 crore with gross sales of Rs 1572.74 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1409.24 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 47.36 crore against gross selling of Rs 15.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 32.36 crore in hybrid segment.
