FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per July 16 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13778.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 14260.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 482.06 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1173.88 crore with gross sales of Rs 974.64 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 199.24 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 442.91 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 413.82 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 170.15 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18.69 crore against gross selling of Rs 7.94 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 10.75 crore in hybrid segment.
