FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 22 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16140.04 crore against gross selling of Rs 17128.74 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 988.70 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1969.65 crore with gross sales of Rs 2718.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 748.75 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 475.24 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt VRR segment at Rs 404.82 crore, while net buyers in Debt FAR segment at Rs 131.31 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 31.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 39.33 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 8.28 crore in hybrid segment.
