FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 20 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13647.41 crore against gross selling of Rs 15709.48 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2062.07 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4780.90 crore with gross sales of Rs 2224.98 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2555.92 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1935.14 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 102.79 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 517.99 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7.29 crore against gross selling of Rs 20.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 13.37 crore in hybrid segment.
