FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 16 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14616.18 crore against gross selling of Rs 18131.51 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3515.33 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2270.42 crore with gross sales of Rs 2354.39 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 83.97 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 820.13 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 954.41 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 218.25 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 36.17 crore against gross selling of Rs 53.29 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 17.12 crore in hybrid segment.
