FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 12 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12001.12 crore against gross selling of Rs 15688.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3686.99 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1295.79 crore with gross sales of Rs 1015.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 280.38 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 128.22 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 123.14 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 285.46 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12.65 crore against gross selling of Rs 11.45 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.20 crore in hybrid segment.
