FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 02 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1332.44 crore against gross selling of Rs 4371.96 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3039.52 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 7824.33 crore with gross sales of Rs 324.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 7499.67 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 7524.38 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 68.79 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 44.08 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1.66 crore against gross selling of Rs 0.59 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.07 crore in hybrid segment.
