FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 30 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6585.82 crore against gross selling of Rs 9202.53 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2616.71 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 754.08 crore with gross sales of Rs 1711.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 957.58 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 57.94 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 234.79 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 780.73 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 11.32 crore against gross selling of Rs 44.07 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 32.75 crore in hybrid segment.
