FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 26 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5334.45 crore against gross selling of Rs 6891.44 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1556.99 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 308.30 crore with gross sales of Rs 1857.59 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1549.29 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 312.55 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 508.09 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 728.65 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8.90 crore against gross selling of Rs 54.60 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 45.70 crore in hybrid segment.
