FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 11 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12030.59 crore against gross selling of Rs 14083.39 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2052.80 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3346.68 crore with gross sales of Rs 2801.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 545.31 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 110.93 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 247.19 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 187.19 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 126.59 crore against gross selling of Rs 5.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 120.97 crore in hybrid segment.
