FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 09 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13248.30 crore against gross selling of Rs 13335.27 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 86.97 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 862.34 crore with gross sales of Rs 2334.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1471.98 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 53.32 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 275.14 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1800.44 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 44.10 crore against gross selling of Rs 17.39 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 26.71 crore in hybrid segment.
