FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 08 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12111.20 crore against gross selling of Rs 12127.68 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 16.48 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 772.39 crore with gross sales of Rs 2343.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1570.70 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 254.08 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 59.92 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1376.54 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 52.95 crore against gross selling of Rs 50.03 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2.92 crore in hybrid segment.
