FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 04 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 11862.73 crore against gross selling of Rs 16615.13 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4752.40 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2724.43 crore with gross sales of Rs 3335.94 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 611.51 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 291.14 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 69.88 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 390.25 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 29.44 crore against gross selling of Rs 20.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 9.12 crore in hybrid segment.
