FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 03 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16250.67 crore against gross selling of Rs 20284.13 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4033.46 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1283.19 crore with gross sales of Rs 628.54 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 654.65 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 18.75 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 110.05 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 745.95 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 58.20 crore against gross selling of Rs 41.36 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 16.84 crore in hybrid segment.
