FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 02 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9892.59 crore against gross selling of Rs 10738.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 846.04 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2789.42 crore with gross sales of Rs 1195.79 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1593.63 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1193.06 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 99.69 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 300.88 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 52.82 crore against gross selling of Rs 35.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 17.52 crore in hybrid segment.
