FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 01 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10670.84 crore against gross selling of Rs 14160.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3489.27 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2608.18 crore with gross sales of Rs 2127.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 480.56 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 316.29 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 115.34 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 681.51 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18.41 crore against gross selling of Rs 30.88 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 12.47 crore in hybrid segment.
