FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 31 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14364.97 crore against gross selling of Rs 15653.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1288.20 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1070.19 crore with gross sales of Rs 1123.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 53.51 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 94.07 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 214.72 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segme
