FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 14 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15153.74 crore against gross selling of Rs 16573.44 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1419.70 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 636.38 crore with gross sales of Rs 52.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 583.39 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 63.53 crore against gross selling of Rs 12.59 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 50.94 crore in hybrid segment.
