FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 05 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14844.73 crore against gross selling of Rs 18211.95 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3367.22 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2428.68 crore with gross sales of Rs 499.10 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1929.58 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10.97 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 8.40 crore in hybrid segment.
