FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per September 27 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity segments, while net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 32482.77 crore against gross selling of Rs 23945.19 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 8537.58 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1948.86 crore with gross sales of Rs 3203.13 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1254.27 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 178.60 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 453.54 crore and net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1886.41 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 44.54 crore against gross selling of Rs 16.15 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 28.39 crore in hybrid segment.
