FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per September 09 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13303.56 crore against gross selling of Rs 12576.22 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 727.34 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1186.01 crore with gross sales of Rs 3380.96 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2194.95 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1436.84 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 542.09 crore, and net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 216.02 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 63.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 55.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 7.39 crore in hybrid segment.
