FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per September 08 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10678.41 crore against gross selling of Rs 9397.92 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1280.49 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1421.74 crore with gross sales of Rs 623.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 798.74 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 478.95 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 446.80 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 127.01 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 82.84 crore against gross selling of Rs 57.05 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 25.79 crore in hybrid segment.
