FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per October 13 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14757.06 crore against gross selling of Rs 12756.33 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2000.73 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1621.91 crore with gross sales of Rs 3460.36 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1838.45 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 117.68 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 112.01 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2068.14 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 95.12 crore against gross selling of Rs 48.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 46.80 crore in hybrid segment.
