FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per May 24 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 37435.95 crore against gross selling of Rs 31544.24 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 5891.71 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 471.91 crore with gross sales of Rs 263.55 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 208.36 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 35.20 crore against gross selling of Rs 88.18 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 52.98 crore in hybrid segment.
