FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per July 31 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18811.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 14023.27 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4787.78 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1596.02 crore with gross sales of Rs 7023.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5427.04 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 369.32 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1995.48 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 3062.24 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 324.49 crore against gross selling of Rs 42.76 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 281.73 crore in hybrid segment.
