FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per July 09 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13925.11 crore against gross selling of Rs 13763.44 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 161.67 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 419.33 crore with gross sales of Rs 658.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 239.33 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14.73 crore against gross selling of Rs 10.46 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4.27 crore in hybrid segment.
