FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 09 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10336.40 crore against gross selling of Rs 10051.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 285.00 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 755.56 crore with gross sales of Rs 658.34 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 97.22 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6.17 crore against gross selling of Rs 18.13 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 11.96 crore in hybrid segment.
