FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 06 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12335.32 crore against gross selling of Rs 11597.95 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 737.37 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2851.65 crore with gross sales of Rs 3535.07 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 683.42 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 349.24 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 96.03 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 238.15 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 55.87 crore against gross selling of Rs 32.38 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 23.49 crore in hybrid segment.
