FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 05 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments , according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8303.81 crore against gross selling of Rs 7657.01 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 646.80 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2755.67 crore with gross sales of Rs 524.58 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2231.09 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 274.38 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 594.70 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1362.01 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14.68 crore against gross selling of Rs 7.43 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 7.25 crore in hybrid segment.
