FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 05 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14741.29 crore against gross selling of Rs 13352.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1389.20 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 905.32 crore with gross sales of Rs 175.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 729.47 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 114.70 crore against gross selling of Rs 101.48 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 13.22 crore in hybrid segment.
