FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 03 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10235.61 crore against gross selling of Rs 8640.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1594.76 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1220.65 crore with gross sales of Rs 270.97 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 949.68 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.79 crore against gross selling of Rs 36.42 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 9.63 crore in hybrid segment.
