FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per December 23 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10900.96 crore against gross selling of Rs 10713.31 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 187.65 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2416.99 crore with gross sales of Rs 3974.45 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1557.46 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 179.24 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 56.28 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1792.98 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 36.48 crore against gross selling of Rs 59.75 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 23.27 crore in hybrid segment.
