FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per December 22 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 28276.28 crore against gross selling of Rs 26108.94 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2167.34 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1806.66 crore with gross sales of Rs 1376.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 429.73 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 389.31 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 389.33 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 348.91 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 183.61 crore against gross selling of Rs 944.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 760.39 crore in hybrid segment.
