FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per December 19 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14175.72 crore against gross selling of Rs 11351.72 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2824.00 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1243.20 crore with gross sales of Rs 2427.23 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1184.03 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 277.48 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 815.91 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 645.60 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 124.74 crore against gross selling of Rs 48.73 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 76.01 crore in hybrid segment.
