FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per December 18 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13591.68 crore against gross selling of Rs 11933.61 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1658.07 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1646.54 crore with gross sales of Rs 1965.53 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 318.99 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 162.22 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 422.08 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 578.85 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.60 crore against gross selling of Rs 24.55 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2.05 crore in hybrid segment.
