FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 25 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12943.22 crore against gross selling of Rs 11275.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1667.85 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 891.27 crore with gross sales of Rs 1133.77 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 242.50 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 0.12 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 49.43 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 193.19 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18.21 crore against gross selling of Rs 27.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 8.96 crore in hybrid segment.
