FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 14 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16142.55 crore against gross selling of Rs 15791.28 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 351.27 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 924.03 crore with gross sales of Rs 3602.24 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2678.21 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1523.13 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1101.34 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 53.74 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 21.37 crore against gross selling of Rs 21.82 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 0.45 crore in hybrid segment.
