FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 02 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18751.20 crore against gross selling of Rs 16924.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1826.35 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2582.63 crore with gross sales of Rs 649.43 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1933.20 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 24.17 crore against gross selling of Rs 25.79 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1.62 crore in hybrid segment.
