Eternal declines on reporting 63% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

Eternal is currently trading at Rs 341.45, down by 6.95 points or 1.99% from its previous closing of Rs 348.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 340.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs 347.75 and Rs 333.75 respectively. So far 1299932 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 1 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 368.40 on 16-Oct-2025 and a 52-week low of Rs 189.60 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 368.40 and Rs 333.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 328835.70 crore.
The Institutional holding in the company stood at 69.14%, while Non-Institutions held 30.85%.
Eternal has reported 64.13% rise in its net profit at Rs 691 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 421 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 27.52% at Rs 3,086 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 2,420 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported 63.07% fall in its net profit at Rs 65 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 176 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased over two fold at Rs 13,942 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 5,020 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
