Enviro Infra Engineers gains after making additional investment in EIE Renewables
Enviro Infra Engineers is currently trading at Rs 261.10, up by 3.95 points or 1.54% from its previous closing of Rs 257.15 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 257.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs 262.50 and Rs 256.75 respectively. So far 158626 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 392.00 on 17-Dec-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 170.10 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 262.50 and Rs 241.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 4571.68 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.09%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.04% and 26.87% respectively.
Enviro Infra Engineers has made an additional investment of Rs 25 crore by way of acquisition of equity shares of EIE Renewables, Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Company. The investment is made by way of subscription to additional 2,50,00,000 equity shares at a face value of Rs 10 each offered by EIE Renewables, on a right basis.
EIE Renewables is incorporated for the purpose of undertaking the business of power generation through renewable sources. The additional investment will enable the Company to tap the opportunities prevailing in the renewable energy sector and aligns with the long-term vision of the Company to expand into sustainable and future-oriented business segments.
Enviro Infra Engineers is engaged in designing, construction, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants and water supply scheme projects for government authorities/bodies.
