Engineers India surges on securing order worth around Rs 222 crore

Engineers India is currently trading at Rs. 178.10, up by 6.80 points or 3.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 171.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 171.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 179.85 and Rs. 171.35 respectively. So far 111905 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 304.00 on 12-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 153.10 on 28-Jan-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 179.85 and Rs. 153.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9990.30 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.32%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.48% and 31.19% respectively.
Engineers India has bagged order worth around Rs 222 crore from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) for Project Management Consultant (PMC) services for Lube Modernization and Bottoms Upgradation (LMBU) project at HPCL Mumbai with a project completion schedule of about 36 months.
Engineers India is engaged in the business of providing engineering and related technical services for petroleum refineries and other industrial projects.
