Engineers India surges after bagging work order worth Rs 252.95 crore

Engineers India is currently trading at Rs 161.35, up by 2.30 points or 1.45% from its previous closing of Rs 159.05 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 161.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 163.00 and Rs 160.30 respectively. So far 112745 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 5 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 304.00 on 12-Jul-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 142.15 on 03-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 163.40 and Rs 154.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 9068.55 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.32%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.48% and 31.19% respectively.
Engineers India has been awarded the Job for EPCM services for 360 KTPA Polypropylene Unit (PPU) project at Numaligarh Refinery. Total estimated award value is around Rs 252.95 crore plus GST. The service order is to be executed in 36 months.
