Engineers India gains on securing consultancy assignments worth Rs 245 crore

Engineers India is currently trading at Rs. 162.50, up by 2.00 points or 1.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 160.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 161.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 163.25 and Rs. 160.45 respectively. So far 47923 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 304.00 on 12-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 142.15 on 03-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 173.95 and Rs. 155.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9116.33 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.32%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.48% and 31.19% respectively.
Engineers India (EIL) has been awarded prestigious consultancy assignments from State Owned Organizations for executing projects on cost plus basis in the state of Maharashtra & West Bengal amounting to around Rs 245 crore.
Earlier, the company had been awarded the Job for EPCM services for 360 KTPA Polypropylene Unit (PPU) project at Numaligarh Refinery. Total estimated award value is around Rs 252.95 crore plus GST.
Engineers India is engaged in the business of providing engineering and related technical services for petroleum refineries and other industrial projects.
