EMS shines on emerging as lowest bidder for Rs 190.86 crore Water Treatment project in Kota

EMS is currently trading at Rs. 407.50, up by 12.35 points or 3.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 395.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 409.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 413.35 and Rs. 399.30 respectively. So far 81399 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 595.00 on 19-Sep-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 256.50 on 10-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 413.35 and Rs. 358.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2259.27 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.17% and 30.13% respectively.

EMS has emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1) for a project awarded by Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Rajasthan for construction of Water Treatment Plant and other ancillary works in Kota, Rajasthan. The project is valued at around Rs 190.86 crore (including GST) and is part of the Water Supply Scheme for Augmentation of UWSS Kota-North in Kota district under AMRUT 2.0.

The project involves construction of 100 MLD WTP Near Shivaji Park and other ancillary works including, but not limited to, construction of Break Pressure Tank (BPT) of capacity 800KL, Clear Water Rising Main of total length of 10,665Mtrs of DI K-7 from Dia. 200 mm to 700 mm in Shivaji Park WTP Zone, distribution system in uncovered area of Shivaji Park WTP zone in Kota North Nagar Nigam area (Zone-12,15 and 16) and new water supply system in Poonam Colony and J.P. Colony area, and Construction of CWR (1500 KL), Pump House and OHSR (1500 KL at 20 MTR) near Jind Baba Mandir. The project has an execution period of 24 months and Operation and Maintenance period of 5 years after 1 year of Defect Liability Period.
