Dr S Jaishankar lands in Pakistan in IAF`s Meghdoot for SCO Council of Heads of Government Meeting
EAM Dr S Jaishankar landed in Islamabad, Pakistan on October 15 for the 23rd Meeting of SCO Council of Heads of Government. Jaishankar's visit to Pakistan is the first such visit by an Indian External Affairs Minister in nine years. Sushma Swaraj last visited Pakistan in 2015. Jaishankar’s visit to Pakistan comes almost after a gap of 1.5 years when India hosted the SCO meet in Goa last year.
