Dhaniya futures trade up on improved demand
Dhaniya futures traded up on NCDEX as participants widened their bets amid improved demand from export market ahead of Ramadan. Prices also supported on decrease in sowing coverage as farmers shift to other profitable crops like wheat and chana.
The contract for January delivery was trading at Rs 10166.00, higher by 0.65% or Rs 66.00 from its previous closing of Rs 10,100.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 17,480 lots.
The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 10820.00, higher by 0.39% or Rs 42.00 from its previous closing of Rs 10,778.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 4,175 lots on NCDEX.
